Unable To Transfer Data From A Device To The OneTouch Reveal® Web Application Via The Data Transfer Tool:
- If communication fails between the device and the OneTouch Reveal® web application, check the following:
- Make sure you have the OneTouch Reveal® Data Transfer Tool installed. The Data Transfer Tool must be installed in order to transfer data from a supported device to the OneTouch Reveal® web application. For information on how to install the Data Transfer Tool, see Install the OneTouch Reveal Data Transfer Tool.
- Make sure that the cable used to transfer data is connected securely to your computer and to the device.
- Make sure you have the cable recommended by the device manufacturer for transferring data. See the Owner's Booklet for the device for more information.
- Make sure you are transferring data from a supported device. For a complete list of supported devices, click on the following link: OneTouchReveal.com/support/en_US/.
- Make sure the device is set to transfer data. As a general guideline, most meters need to be turned off to transfer data. For a complete list of supported devices, click on the following link: OneTouchReveal.com/support/en_US/.
- Make sure the OneTouch Reveal® Data Transfer Tool is set to automatically find the device. For information on how to customize the settings, see Customize the Data Transfer Tool Settings.
- Make sure you have selected the correct type of device.
