OneTouch® UltraSoft® 2 lancing device has 9 penetration depths. Turn depth dial to desired lancing depth. Lancing depth guide: number 1 for soft/ thin skin; number 3 for average skin; number 5 for thick/ calloused skin. Finer adjustments can be made by setting the arrow between numbers.
Cleaning And Disinfecting The Lancing Device And End Cap :
Clean the surface of the lancing device with a wet cloth. To avoid damage, do not immerse the body of the lancing device into any liquid. The surface of the lancing device can be wiped and disinfected with 75% ethanol. If there is a blood stain inside the cap of the lancing device, turn the depth dial to the arrow position and pull out the depth dial to wipe and clean the blood stain with 75% ethanol (as shown in the figure). After disinfection, align the arrow mark on the depth dial with the depth indicator arrow and install the depth dial back to the end cap.
