Preparing your lancing device:

1. Remove the lancing device cap

    • Twist off the end cap of the lancing device.
2. Insert a sterile lancet into the lancing device

    • Push lancet firmly into holder.
3. Remove lancet protective cover.

    • NOTE: Save the protective cover for safe disposal of used lancet.
4. Replace the lancing device cap

5. Adjust the depth setting

    • Adjust to the suitable depth number.
      • NOTE: The OneTouch® UltraSoft® 2 Lancing Device has 9 penetration depths. Turn depth dial to desired lancing depth. Number 1 for soft/thin skin, number 3 for average skin, number 5 for thick/calloused skin, and finer adjustments can be made by setting the depth indicator arrow between numbers.
6. Cock the lancing device

    • Gently pull priming barrel until a click is heard.
