Error 5:
 

• What it means:
  • The meter has detected a problem with the test strip. Possible cause is test strip damage.

• What to do:
  • ​​​​​​​Repeat the test with a new test strip;
    • OneTouch Verio Reflect® - Testing Your Blood Glucose
    • OneTouch Verio Reflect® - Testing with Control Solution
  • If the error message appears again, contact Customer Care.

Error Screens:

• If there is a problem with the meter, error screens may appear. If you cannot resolve the error with your meter, contact Customer Care. They will refer to the error number, and a sub-error code found in the Meter Info screen, to help troubleshoot the problem. For more information on viewing the Meter Info screen:
